Green man watch over me , for spring is erupting around,
Could you bring back the winter and lose all the sweet flowers and sounds
For I am not happy unless I’m in pain , the misery grabs me again and again,
So Green man I plead with you bring back the frosts and the rain.
Today I saw a rainbow , the most perfect ever been
I rode upon its resting place , Of gardens evergreen,
But you just cant touch the colours although the air is fresher there,
So I keep on chasing rainbows I see those colours everywhere.
Green man I’m on my knees spare me the summer!
A season where bush and trees outgrow the other…
So bring back my winter and shorten the days,
The darkness and solemnity echo my ways.
Today I saw an Elm tree , the rarest in the world
I stood beneath its canopy and wished for all I could.
But I cant save the Elm tree , diseased with death it bears,
A monstrous old time lord , I’ll come again I’ll swear
